Microsoft edge reviews july 2017 windows#
For once compatibility is no longer an issue, which gives Microsoft more time to focus on fine-tuning performance and web developers time to make better websites instead of worrying about what will work in the default browser of Windows computers all over the world. It feels like Microsoft is finally back to the browser space with this new fantastic browser. I do love Microsoft Edge and Microsoft but it is slower, seems more invasive, and loaded but I will always use it. Google know what you do and I am okay with that and all I note is perhaps ads related to my searches and interests but Edge seems to throw more at you and that is mainly why they are my second choice browser. Privacy is key and though they are known for great safety, I sometimes feel it is lax. Meaning, I sense there are more things they want me to do because they know what I do. I think it is watching me in different ways than Google. Most do, but I think they offer a bit too much there and Edge's is perfect. But they continue to improve and I love the sidebar where you can see so much at a glance. I could not stand it for the longest time. The ability to sync everything I have in Google or Chrome is key for not only my personal use but business also! I will always use Microsoft edge as my backup browser but I also sometimes use only that for long periods of time, and do enjoy it! I am an expert at any browser use and this is, in fact, a great one. Now that it has changed so much and totally become their brand only, it is great! I use it when Google is crashing, but then it can crash too, like all browsers. My First Choice When I Need a Different Browser
